Artle is a puzzle game for people who really understand art. In this game, you have to test your knowledge of famous artists. You have to look at the piece of art and try to figure out who made it. You have four chances to get the answer right. The pictures on the screen are from the National Gallery of Art's collection and show different works of art. Artle is the best way to have fun and learn more about art.
1 First, a piece of art will show up on your screen. It could be a photograph, a painting, or a piece of sculpture. See if you can figure out who made it. Start typing an artist’s name in the search box, and then select it from the list.
2 Remember that you can guess the artist four times.
3 A red cross means that your answer was wrong.
4 When you give a wrong answer, you get another piece of art from that artist as a clue. So, on your last try, you will see four of the artist's works.
5 Don't worry if you can't guess the artist. Artle is a great way to improve your art skills and learn more about art and famous artists.
