Welcome to BARDLE, a guessing game based on Shakespeare's works. You can guess the word 6 times.

How to play

Try to figure out 5 letter phrases that Shakespeare's characters or words used. The tone of Bardle shows if what you are guessing is right or wrong. The letter is in the right place because the square is green. If it looks yellow, it is in an unacceptable place. Assuming that the tone of the letter is dark, the letter isn't anywhere.

The screen will show 5 columns and 6 rows.
Choose five-letter words from Shakespeare's writing or from the people he made.
Select the letters with the keyboard.
Press the delete key to get rid of the wrongly written letter (s).
Click Enter to check that the letter(s) you typed is correct.
