Birdle

Birdle is a copy of Wordle that has a bird theme. The player guesses the name of a British bird instead of a random five-letter word.

How to play

Try to name the UK bird in the picture (changes every 24h).

All of the birds must be from the UK. You can use generic bird types or families (like OWL), but this will affect your score.

There are green letters in the answer, but there are no red letters. Even if there are punctuation marks in the answer, they are not needed.

Since the number of letters isn't set, it's not possible to show the "right" places for them.

This hint will get stronger with each correct letter.
