Chessformer
A charming logic puzzle platformer, Chessformer requires you to think like a chess master and navigate physics like a platform pro.
How to play Chessformer
In this game, you move based on your chess piece. You must use each piece's special skills. Rooks, bishops, knights, and others help you move forward. Bishops move diagonally. Rooks move straight. Knights move in an L shape.
What's the twist? A 2D grid limits your moves. This makes puzzles harder to solve. Move your piece up the board carefully. It might fall. You need to plan ahead.
Features
- Smart chess-piece mechanics
- Limited to chessboard grid movement
- 24 difficult stages force you to think
- Enjoyable images, sounds, and music
Controls
Chess pieces indicate possible moves as dots when clicked or touched. Tap a dot to move. Each piece moves according to chess principles and is impacted by gravity.
Tips and tricks
- Plan two steps ahead. Remember that gravity affects landings.
- Use stacking. Park a knight beneath a rook or bishop to elevate it.
- Open doors early. A shortcut to the king is often unlocked by keys and buttons.
- Restart rapidly. Stop defending a bad path to see new lines.
