Pips NYT
New logic puzzle called Pips NYT. The game is fun when you use logic, strategy, and observation to arrange dominoes according to the rules.
How to play Pips NYT
Solving difficult Pips NYT puzzles while drinking coffee or before sleeping is ideal. A board and domino tiles are provided. Place each tile so the dots match the board numbers. Initially easy, the riddles get harder, so take your time.
Know the Rules
- Each collection of dots represents a full-dying face (1 through 1).
- Put each die face like this:
- None of the dye faces repeat in lines or columns.
- Each group of connected pips dies valid (note: five pips, not five dice with a pipe). - Pip connections should be orthogonal.
Start Solving
Think about where each dye goes on the face Pips NYT board. Seeing five pips in a row may indicate a fading face. Eliminating impossible possibilities will narrow the appropriate placement.
Tips & tricks
- Start Pips NYT with the biggest PIP groupings for easy decoding.
- Check the grid for unusual patterns—some fit only partially.
- Find tough places by elimination.
