The grids in each puzzle are normally 5x5, although tougher tasks have larger grids. Some squares have numbers. Draw rectangles or squares around each number to:
- One rectangle or square contains every numbered square.
- Deduce the motion so that the number equals the shape's total area (squares).
- On the grid, no shapes overlap or cause holes.
If a cell is labeled “4”, design a form that covers four squares and incorporate it. Making all shapes fit without conflict is a perfect test of logic, visualization, and spatial planning.
Tips for Success
- Extremes first: The largest and smallest integers often share one placement, so solve them first.
- Edges: Grid boundaries help narrow rectangle placements.
- Logically eliminate: Shape placement that clashes is not the best answer.
