Sugar, Sugar 2, the successor to Bart Bonte's popular puzzle game, requires you to draw lines to guide sugar particles into cups. Expect more mind-bending difficulties and inventive solutions this time!

How to play Sugar, Sugar 2

Sugar, Sugar 2 improves on a classic: draw lines, redirect falling sugar, and fill every cup. It seems easy, but color filters, gravity toggles, portals, and small openings make each stage a satisfying logic problem. The sequel retains the basic design and tactile physics that made the original popular while adding new surprises that need careful planning and tidy graphics.

Each level's spouts emit sugar granules steadily. To meet cup requirements, you draw, carve paths, split flows, and time color conversions. Success requires managing speed with slopes, limiting spills, and sequencing the path to provide the proper quantity to each cup. Later stages add gravity flips, portals, one-way gates, and filters that turn sugar red, green, or other colors before landing. Planning and clear lines are important because one sloppy line can block a passage.

Tips and tricks

  • Before drawing, mentally sketch the path. Where will sugar separate, color, and merge?
  • Test the flow with moderate guidelines, then add steeper rails to hurry it into the final cup.
  • Separate colors. Create lanes to prevent dyed grains from contaminating cups.
  • Block stray sugar from overfilling cups with walls.
