How to play Up and Down Words

In the game Up and Down Words, you fill in missing words in the chain to solve the word puzzle and finish the two-word sentences. The first and last words of the first and preceding pairs are provided by the game. The first word of the next phrase follows each phrase's second word. Word-guessing tips are provided for each pair. Two game modes are Normal and Expert. The 'HINT' options button in Normal Mode reveals letters and words.

Tips & tricks

• Starting with the clues with the most letters will offer you the most details to complete.
• Search for related clues because two-word sentences often contain them.
• Continue to the next clue and revisit the one you got stuck on if time allows. Don't get stuck on one hint.
• Hint: click "reveal letter" if stuck.
• To identify your best method, solve the puzzle top-down and bottom-up.
