Warmle is like Wordle, but a yellow hint tells you if you are within 3 letters of the right letter for that spot.

How to play

Warmle gives you 5 chances to guess the word. Everyone starts with the same clue, which is picked at random.

Letters in your guess are:

• If the letter is right, it will be green. If you hit, you get to keep the letter (green). You don't need to try again.
• Yellow if that letter is close but doesn't belong there. (within three letters of the alphabet).
• Grey if it's more than three letters away from the right one.

The thermometer at the bottom is a way to keep track of how things are going. It shows how many words in the dictionary you've already ruled out based on the clues you've gotten so far.
