Start With Information Dense Words
If you have a choice of your first word, consider one with plenty of common vowels and consonants. A first guess using various letters might provide more information than a guess using the same character many times.
- Early on, test a few frequent vowels.
- Only repeat letters if you think there are duplicates.
- Record every green, yellow, and gray result.
- Whenever you get fresh information that is significant, re-run the search.
Reduce, Not Replace, Your Reasoning with Search
The Search option will be the most helpful if you have supplied precise clues. A solution can narrow the possibilities, but you still have to know why a candidate term is a good one. Thus, the game becomes a good tool to learn word patterns instead of choosing the first option blindly.
